Learning Outcomes 1 & 2

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in current and emerging instructional technologies 

          Outcome One ensures that I as a teacher know what I am doing before I use technology with my students. They will look to me as the authority about the technology if they have never used it or have just basic knowledge of the technology.

Outcome Two, simply put, reminds me to use technology in my lessons to help with student engagement. Students are almost more familiar with the use of technology that they tune out when the lesson is basic lecture and notes. Adding presentations, the use of the Internet or computers, or even the use of the overhead allows for visual and auditory stimulation and leads to better student engagement.
